Sunday evening at Grand Central Terminal in midtown Manhattan, New York. The New York Central is long gone, but Metro-North uses the station today, and outside you can see some of the work that will bring the Long Island Rail Road here, supposedly in 2022. Not too far away the former glorious competitor Penn Station was demolished in 1963, and its replacement is not a rail palace. But Grand Central endures.
