Western Maryland 734 blasts through City Junction as the sun rises through the trees on a cold January morning.
City Junction, located at the mouth of the narrows, was the location of a small yard and a connection to the B&O via a bridge over Wills Creek. This connection was once used by the WM to reach the C&P which had tracks west to Frostburg and Coal Mines.
An ongoing/growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of railroads because most of us don't go out after sundown or before sunrise. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And I continue to find new "Lights In The Night"!)
