Remarks & Notes |
Doyle McCormack's Nickel Plate Road PA-1 No. 190, originally built in 1948 for the Santa Fe (and later used on the Delaware & Hudson and in Mexico) sits on display by the former Southern roundhouse at the NCTM. The locomotive traveled from Portland, OR making it the furthest traveled for the Streamliners gathering. This locomotive is in the process of being restored to operation. To the right and behind the PA is the URHS of NJ's non-operational 1949 (ex-C&NW/ NJT) Reading F7(A) No. 284 from Boonton, NJ with the Monticello Railway Museum's 1953 built operable Wabash F7(A) No. 1189 barely visible to the extreme right.. |
