New Haven FL9 #2019 from the Railroad Museum of New England was one of many streamliners that attended NCTM's "Streamliners" event in Spencer, NC. Number 2019, former NH 2049,is operational and is owned by the RMNE, along with sisters, NH 2002, former 2005, and NH 2059.
To the right is the Monticello Railway Museum's 1953 Wabash #1189 F7, the Illinois Railway Museum's 1949 C&NW #411 F7, PanAm Railways ex-CN #1 FP9 (#2 did not attend), and most famous of all, the St. Louis Museum of Transportation's 1939 EMD FT Demonstrator #103 - the first ever "F" unit. The VMTs EMD FT B unit, not seen, was also on display at the event.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
