The eastbound “salt train”, laden with the product from North America’s largest salt mine, and the reason for the existence of the then short line Genesee & Wyoming, rolls through Cameron, New York. The former Reading GP39-2’s paint has not yet exhibited the fading seen on the ex-Lehigh Valley GP38-2 that is trailing.
