Remarks & Notes
A pair of the New Haven's EP4 class electrics led by class unit 300 and a pair of GP9s headed up by the 1204 await their next assignments under the old coaling tower at Cedar Hill Yard in New Haven. Penn Central would end electric freight operations here in 1969, and by the 1980s the yard would become a shadow of what it once was, but the indestructable coaling tower still stands there in 2017.
