| About 5 miles south of Potosi is where the Platte River where dumps into the Mississippi River. The BNSF Aurora Sub crosses the river on a little causeway near the Banfield Saddle area. Here the Chicago to Portland Q-train rumbles towards LaCrosse as they work along the Mississippi River. The train is currently between East Dubuque and Prairie du Chien passing MP 194 as a cloud does a good job of mucking with me! |
