Remarks & Notes

Marooned in Port Henry overnight as the unfolding April Fools Day snowstorm made roads impassable, I watched from my parked car as this scene took shape across rte. 9N. When I heard 252 cross the border three hrs. running time away with 5035 for its leader I started to plan this shot. After all, I wasn't going anywhere! The scene got better and better as the hours passed until 5035 came down past the station and into the curve at 04:25. Making the wait, and night worthwhile!
