Southern Division Tie Extra
As clouds loom overhead an NYS&W maintenance of way extra heads Westbound past a small pond in Sparta. The ultimate destination for this train is Sparta Junction where the crew will work with a maintenance of way team dropping new ties. While the daylight extra itself is a true rarity, this four car train had the NYS&W caboose bringing up the rear as it was used as a shoving platform earlier in the morning. |
