Two trains wait for a clear signal on two separate mainlines. The 6692 is on an Ex-Mopac line, while the 4476 is on an Ex-Southern Pacific line. Unfortunately, both trains would be waiting for a while. The 6692 had another freight directly in front of him and two more behind him all the way to Valley Jct. The 4476 is waiting for some power swapping in front of him. The SP line, going North, crosses over the Mopac line at grade and goes to Hearne, connects with another SP line, where it crosses another Mopac line. The Mopac line goes to Valley Jct. where it crosses the second Mopac line mentioned earlier. This photo was taken North of Mumford where the two lines parallel each other until the crossover. There is rumor about a huge classification yard being built around this area. In fact, in Mumford, an old Post Office and Homestead was torn down due to this construction, but has been halted.
