If you believe the Rev. W. Awdry's theory that locomotives can talk to each other, I'm sure the conversation between 4001 and 1036 and passing trains on the main line is rather entertaining! Waiting for a ride back to Altoona, SD70ACe #1036 and AC44C6M #4001 stand alongside the main line in a farm field near McVeytown, Pennsylvania. As I understand, these two were picked up by a helper set this morning and returned to Juniata.
