One of the most famous steam locomotives in Hollywood, Virginia & Truckee #22, "Inyo, has starred in at least 35 film and television productions. Perhaps most notably, "Inyo" masqueraded as the Western & Atlantic Railroad's "Texas" for Walt Disney's "The Great Locomotive Chase", released in June of 1956. Now, the "Inyo" spends most of its life resting inside the main building at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, seeing occasional operation during special occasions.
