DC to AC conversion engine NS 4004 (maroon mane) leads the Chicago to Ayer, MA intermodal past a classic D&H searchlight that will soon be replaced. Pan Am RJ-1 can be seen holding on the former Boston & Maine Rotterdam Branch on the left. The new modern signal has been put up to replace the small dwarf signal. The signal is next to the old base of a 3 light searchlight that used to stand at this spot. On the right, the replacement for the classic D&H searchlight lays out of sight on the ground.
