Re 416 # 625 is the former Re 4/4 I # 10002 (delivered as # 402) of the SBB, built in 1944 by SLM, BBC, MFO and SAAS, withdrawn from service in september 1997, then sold to Classic Rail. From may 1999 to 2003 rented to the Mittel-Thurgau-Bahn (MThB), mainly for mail trains. The privately owned locomotive is not operational and was pulled this day from Sissach to Luino by Re 4/4 II 11294.
