R711 and K190 trail their lengthy consist back into the platform at Bendigo, before departing on the last leg home to Melbourne after a three day tour of northern Victoria. Behind the locos are a water gin for K190, followed by a power van, crew car 'Goulburn,' three steel sleeping cars (two still carrying 'The Vinelander' tangerine livery, with the centre car being ex-Southern Aurora), club car 'Moorabool,' sleeping cars 'Indi,' 'Coliban,' and 'Inman,' followed by two 'E' sitting cars (the second out of shot) and lastly diesel locomotives T356 and T364.
