| These two SD40-2's crossing the South Platte River in Denver were both built in June of 1978 for the Burlington Northern, and until recently both retained their Cascade Green paint. BSNF 1653 now sports the Heritage III paint scheme. Slowly but surely the BN green engines are being assimilated into the BNSF Pumpkin Borg. |
