A Union Railroad empty steel slab train passes through the railroad's Duquesne Yard in, of all places, Duquesne, Pennsylvania. On this June 25, 2017, morning the train is powered by URR MP15DCs 30 and 17. (For those keeping score at home, the three MP15DCs sitting in the yard are numbers 26, 25 and 10.) EMD MP15DCs are, for the most part, the locomotive of choice these days on this Class III switching railroad, owned by United States Steel (USS Corporation), and built to service the steel mills in and around Pittsburgh.
