| A classic New York Central Railroad scene at Buffalo Central Terminal is recreated with Amtrak Train 48 at just before 0900. The former New York Central Babbling Brook (PPCX 800007) is bringing up the markers on home rails here, as it used to cover the Chicago to Boston version of what is now the "Lake Shore Limited" as the "New England States", although in stopping here would have been under the now derelict train shed. Buffalo Central hosted train arrival from 1929 until 10/28/1979 when Amtrak moved its station to Dick Road in Depew. |
