Following substantial flood damage to the New England Central Railroad's Roxbury Subdivision at White River Jct. and vicinity, Amtrak's July 1 northbound Vermonter was canceled at Windsor, Vermont. On Sunday, July 2, a set of light power, Amtrak GP38H-3 522 and MP15DC 539, retrieved/rescued the train to take south. The southbound move is seen passing the Bellows Falls station at 2030 hrs on Sunday evening.
