Heading literally and figuratively into the sunset, an A-B-B-A set of Alco cabs departs Penn Central's South Boston freight terminal for Lowell, MA, with train BL-1. The locomotives and trackage are former New Haven, and in 1969-70 this was the last regular assignment for PC's ex-NH FAs and FBs.
