After OC&E quit hauling logs in April 1990, the railroad had one remaining commercial customer. Since this business received inbound asphalt loads that were distributed to road projects all over Northern California and Southern Oregon, it was busy for most of the summer of 1990. When BN built a spur into this plant later in the year, OC&E could finally stop running for good.
