Remarks & Notes
Just which railroad is which? On the much lower, less impressive trestle over Copper Creek, a CSX coal train utilizes NS trackage rights between Big Stone Gap, Va. and Frisco, Tenn. while on CSX's much more impressive ex-Clinchfield Railroad's Copper Creek Viaduct, a NS coal train, utilizing CSX trackage rights between St. Paul, Va. and Frisco, Tenn., rolls by. The Clinch River flows to the left.
