| "261 with a Fresh Coat at Fresh Pond"
New York & Atlantic Railway GP38-2 261 sits outside the shop at Fresh Pond Yard after receiving a fresh coat of paint. 261 is the only of NYAR's 4 geeps to retain it's original "white stripe" scheme and features hand painted numerals on the side to pay tribute to the original scheme the engine was in when it served on LIRR. |
