Remarks & Notes
Siemens ES 64 F4-094 (or 189 # 994) "Sierre" of Mitsui Rail Capitel Europe BV was built in 2003. Since a few weeks rented to SBB Cargo and with a new "Novelis" paint scheme (adhesives), the locomotive is pulling the train 44090 of the Novelis aluminum company from Göttingen/Germany via Schaffhausen-Eglisau-Regensdorf-Bözberg to Basel shunting yard. The destination of the cars is the Novelis (former Alusuisse) production work in Sierre. On the side of the locomotive, aluminium coils are pictured, the same product is transported in the (now empty) special Shimmns type freight cars. The train was diverted via Schaffhausen because of the line interruption of Rastatt/Germany (several weeks complete interruption of europeans most heavy used north-south railway corridor, because of a collaps of a tunnel under construction).
