BNSF 8066 has its Boeing J-train stopped in Merritt, WA in the siding after meeting a Z-train at Olds Jct., Wenatchee at 830 AM, another Z at Leavenworth about 950 AM, and the EVESPO at Winton about 11 AM. Around noon an eastbound coal train will roll by the J-train, and it will continue to Scenic (through the Cascade Tunnel) and meet a second coal train, then meet an oil train at Skykomish. This 500 ft. long "hot" train certainly had plenty of time to cool its heals on this trip.
