Burlington Northern's sharp looking SD70MACs rapidly took over the majority of the coal business as their numbers increased and were augmented by BNSF units in the Grinstein colors as well as the early Heritage colors that were much more appealing than later, more spartan schemes. The 9775 and companions are clawing their way up Crawford Hill's 1.1% grade across the Pine Ridge with an SEPX coal train.
