China CSR Zhuzhou electric locomotive factory was successfully developed in 2002. Shaoshan 3B electric locomotive is in Shaoshan 3 4000 series electric locomotives based on six axle locomotive consists of two parts connected to the fixed twelve axle heavy haul freight electric locomotive, mainly used to replace part of Shaoshan 1, Shaoshan 3 electric locomotive on the corresponding line freight traction. Compared with Shaoshan's 3 4000 series electric locomotives, Shaoshan 3B locomotive is similar to that of the general layout, the same main circuit, auxiliary circuit, body and bogie, but the electric control system has been improved greatly, is the first distributed network control system in domestic AC DC drive electric locomotive, single day the engine control unit and two locomotive Reconnetion control respectively using MVB and WTB bus communication network system.
