Remarks & Notes
Soaked and Steamy

On a wet late summer night, a hostler conductor for the Grand Trunk signals his engine to a stop for a spin on the table. Other engines wait their turn in the background.

This image was taken as part of a night photo session at Steamtown Nation Historic Site in Scranton, PA in support of restoring Boston & Maine 4-6-2 3713 "The Constitution" to operation. Lighting by Steve Barry. Nick Hovey, model.

Taking a look at the same train and scene as captured by different photographers. The best way to view will be to sort by photo date so the photos are grouped together.

Lights In The Night (Or Evening/Morning)! Railroads Seen In Another Perspective!

Album created by member Dana M.

An ongoing/growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of railroads because most of us don't go out after sundown or before sunrise. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And I continue to find new "Lights In The Night"!)
