Remarks & Notes

BNSF 6543 brings up the end of a stack train as the BNSF cuts through a pear orchard near Cashmere, WA. Harvesting has begun and boxes are being ready for loading by migrant workers. Weather conditions driven by dry, hot conditions and forest fires will make picking pears even more difficult than normal. It also impacted lighting for photos on Sept. 1.
