| The "Snow Wake" In the foreground is the accumulated snow being cleared off the rails off the nose/wing plow. The spreader is paused to refuel the heavy equipment. The bulldozers, contracted by the UP, are employed to push the snow over the banks...in spots where the spreaders cannot. In simple terms, they make room for more snow. Just another part of the UPs aresenal for snow removal. |
