Looking out of Super Chief / El Capitan’s FP45, Train 18 is meeting westbound Train 23 the “Grand Canyon” behind two F units at Canyoncito, N.M. on March 7, 1968. Ahead for the Super is the climb up Glorieta Pass, 2nd highest elevation on the AT&SF at 7,455-ft.
