| The 1130 Loughborough - Leicester North sees BR 73156 approaching Swithland Sidings during the Great Central Railways Autumn Steam Gala Event marking '50 Years Since The End Of British Railways Southern Region Steam'.
Newly restored BR 73156 is masquerading as BR73084 'Tintagel' from Southern Region Top Shed 70A Nine Elms.
BR 73156 was built at Doncaster in 1956 and withdrawn in 1967. It arrived at the GCR in 2001 and its restoration from scrapyard condition was completed in October 2017 just in time for the Autumn Gala. |
