Remarks & Notes 
Due to a freight derailment on the east side of Williston, Amtrak was forced to bus passengers between there and Minot. When eastbound #8 was turned to become westbound #7, however, both Amtrak locomotives were facing east. With no suitable location to wye the power, a freight engine had to be called in to haul the train back to the coast.
