Remarks & Notes
A loaded coal train bound for Bayport, MN, for Northern States Power at the Allen King Plant, is seen here dropping downgrade out of Bradford. Bradford is located on the UP Spineline north of Iowa Falls. I was really surprised this train was conventional, considering how much UP does DP.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
