Remarks & Notes

In May of 1982, a westbound Burlington Northern “Dinky” departs Chicago Union Station in a view from Polk Street overpass. Chicago, Burlington & Quincy, and later BN, affectionately used the term “Dinky” when referring to a commuter train.
