Remarks & Notes
On a late winter morning, a single passenger awaits an inbound MBTA Haverhill-Boston commuter train at the modest station at Ballardvale, MA. The combination of a Boston & Maine GP7 and depowered RDCs was common at the time as leased B&M Geeps were used to propel aging Budds that were no longer capable of running on their own.
