| In the peaceful, rural valleys east of Altoona the railroad follows essentially river grade for over 100 miles along Spruce Creek and the Juniata and Susquehanna Rivers. On a Sunday early afternoon NS 7687 East has an easy time of it while cruising down the valley. |
