Amtrak No.14, the northbound Coast Starlight, crosses a dry Santa Clara River in Solidad Canyon. Due to a possible 36 hour shut down of the coast Route at the Ventura River for replacement of one of the bridges, the Coast Starlights will detour over Tehachapi Pass today.
