Rounding the horseshoe curve at the northern end of the Cliff siding, Amtrak 14, the northbound Coast Starlight, prepares to enter Tunnel 5 during its decent of Tehachapi Pass. To the left and off to the distance, the tracks at Caliente can be seen where the train will be in roughly 10 minutes or so.
