The lead unit of this Northeast Corridor doubleheader is one of the five ex-PRR E8s that Amtrak modified with HEP generators to make them compatible with Amfleet. The Washington-bound train is less than half an hour out of Boston as it speeds through Sharon, MA, on a late winter day.
