Approaching a 1909 built trestle, that crosses over the Ventura river in Emma Wood State Park, this Amtrak Surliner heads north, leaving Ventura in late afternoon light in fall.

Some of the best passenger locomotives that EMD ever made (aside from the F40PH). With all F59s gone from the Surfline, the only place that they can be seen is in the Bay Area.
