Another swiss steamlocomotive is nearing completion to be operational again, the "Tigerli" (little Tiger, nickname) shunting locomotive E 3/3 # 8485 at Delémont. The 0-6-0 was built by the SLM Winterthur in 1907 for the SBB and was the last of the series, which was delivered without the platform in front of the smokebox for the shunting personell. The locomotive was completely rebuilt from 2006 by the small group of the association Historische Eisenbahn Gesellschaft (HEG) at Delémont (which is now a group of SBB Historic). Some pieces had to be built new. The boiler was renovated by Demian Soder at Dintikon. The locomotive was rebuilt in the appearance when she was delivered, with the front number plate mounted at the chimney, not on the smoke box door like it was done later. This new "gem" of a locomotive should be operational again in 2018.
