Remarks & Notes

Right at sunset, what looks to be an OANP (Oakland, CA, to North Platte, NE manifest) hits the west end of Kramm siding as it climbs out of Oroville toward James and the Feather River Canyon. The eastbound has just negoaited a giant S-curve to gain elevation. This part of the railroad was built by the State of California in 1960 when it relocated the WP as part of the Oroville Dam project.
