Horses of Flesh and Iron
The Abingdon Branch is noted for how little life seems to have changed over the last half century. Draft teams are still a common sight on farms along the V-C, and a young farm hand works a team thru the fields in early November as train 202 heads north.
This image is part of a Lerro Productions charter on the Strasburg Railroad. The farm boy is Amish and his family gave us permission to photograph. |
