Remarks & Notes
Freight Train over the Raritan - The direct train from Oak Island Yard to Browns Yard, led by Conrail crew OI-16, is seen crossing the NJCL Raritan River drawbridge at its usual time of 4-5 pm. This OI-16 crew was abolished in May of 2017. The supply train to Browns Yard now originates from Port Reading Yard as PR-52, which exits Port Reading around 7:30 pm and crosses the Raritan after 8 pm making afternoon shots like this one a thing of the past.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
