At 89 Years Old, She Still Looks Like She Just Rolled Out of Baldwin. Easing her way up Amtrak's 8th Street Coach Yard, Santa Fe 3751 passes by the passenger rail company's service and inspection shed, better known as "S&I," as it heads for the north end of the yard. There, the 89-year-old Baldwin 4-8-4 will join there display equipment set to make the move to Union Station under the cover of darkness. The following day two days, 3751 would take part in the 2015 California Passenger Rail Summit. For those wondering, yes, the locomotive was backing away from the photographer as I shot this and not rolling toward me.
