Remarks & Notes
Squint your eyes and picture a bloody nose and Southern Pacific gallery cars... While it no longer adorns the proud Southern Pacific bloody-nose paint scheme, iconic light package or a steam boiler in the rear of its body - UP 1375, ex-SP 3199, still carries its weight here in 2017. Leading a hefty string of more than 15 cars past the 1987-built Oxnard Transit Center, the last passenger locomotive purchased by the Southern Pacific turns its nose into the morning light as it departs for work at P&G, Camarillo and Somis.

What California is known for. Fires, droughts, weed, and people waving rainbow flags. Yah. Great place alright. At least the trains are nice.
