Remarks & Notes
The "Clinchfield 676" (UP 3985) is leading the 50th anniversary edition of the Santa Claus Special southbound toward Kingsport, Tennessee on a dreary Saturday morning 25 years ago. The train is about to cross Virginia Route 63/83 in the small community of Clinchco, formerly known as Moss. The Google Maps street view shows this angle to be blocked by trees today.
