Remarks & Notes

Louisville & Nashville trains 3 and 4, the Chicago-Danville Flyer, were inherited from the Chicago & Eastern Illinois when the L&N and MP split up the C&EI, and on this day the locomotive was ex-C&EI as well. L&N E7 799, which began life as C&EI 1101, is still on its old home rails as it approaches the station at Watseka, IL, with two-car southbound train #3.
