The "Clinchfield 676" (UP 3985) is silhouetted against a leaden sky 25 years ago, in similar weather conditions experienced by chasers of the recent 75th anniversary Santa Claus Special. The bridge was built by the Millard-Quigg Construction Co. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in September of 1908; it's 1,091 feet long, and the deck is 167 feet above Copper Creek.
